Maintenance TechnicianShift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating 2-2-3 SchedulePay: $28.69/hour + $1.50/hour Shift PremiumPosition OverviewM Force Partners is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production equipment reliability within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, building, fabricating, modifying, and maintaining automated production machinery while supporting safety, quality, and production goals.The ideal Maintenance Technician has strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, PLCs, robotics, servo systems, and AC/DC electrical systems. Experience with Omron PLCs is highly preferred.This Maintenance Technician will work a rotating 12-hour night schedule and should be comfortable independently diagnosing equipment problems, responding to production breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, maintain, build, fabricate, modify, and relocate production machineryDiagnose electrical, mechanical, automation, and equipment performance issuesPerform preventive maintenance on production machines and facility equipmentProgram and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, with Omron experience preferredTroubleshoot and support industrial robotics and servo systemsPerform machine programming, calibration, adjustments, and design modifications as neededTroubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems and work safely around high-voltage equipmentFabricate and modify machine components and parts as necessaryRespond to equipment breakdowns and work to minimize production downtimeMaintain accurate documentation for equipment breakdowns, preventive maintenance, repairs, and Kaizen activitiesIdentify and recommend equipment and process improvements to increase efficiency and reliabilityOperate forklifts and other industrial equipment as requiredCommunicate equipment problems, maintenance activities, and repair status with Production and other departmentsMaintain established 5S standards throughout maintenance and production areasFollow equipment operating instructions, safety procedures, and company policiesSupport continuous improvement and employee involvement initiativesSupport applicable IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 requirementsPerform maintenance responsibilities independently with minimal supervisionWork overtime as required to support manufacturing operationsPerform additional maintenance responsibilities as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED2-year technical degree and/or 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience or related manufacturing experience with specialized technical training1-3 years of experience working with AC/DC electrical systems in an industrial maintenance environmentStrong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skillsPLC programming and troubleshooting experienceWorking knowledge of industrial robotics and servo systemsAbility to read and understand equipment operating instructions and technical documentationAbility to fabricate or modify machine components as neededStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate maintenance problems, repairs, and technical information effectivelyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work a rotating 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 2-2-3 scheduleAbility to work overtime as requiredPreferred QualificationsOmron PLC programming and troubleshooting experienceTechnical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related fieldExperience maintaining automated manufacturing equipmentHands-on robotics and servo troubleshooting experienceExperience with machine fabrication, modification, and equipment relocationExperience in an IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 manufacturing environmentExperience with Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiativesPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and move for 8-12 hours per shiftAbility to lift and carry up to 75 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periodsAbility to apply up to 66 pounds of push/pull force without assistanceAbility to reach overheadAbility to safely work in confined spaces and elevated locationsAbility to safely perform maintenance activities involving high-voltage electrical systemsAbility to operate a forklift as requiredJob Presented By M Force PartnersM Force Partners is a specialized recruitment partner connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations.
