Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry in Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients with a focus on total joint, surgical, Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), and medical conditions such as CHF, chronic kidney disease (CKD), alcohol withdrawal, Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (SIRS), and gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB). The position offers a day shift schedule in a community hospital setting, with an emphasis on compassionate patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license; recent acute care experience; able to handle 6 patient ratios; at least 2 years of RN experience preferred; certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); located within 60 miles of the facility (local rate range: $48)
• Preferred Qualifications: Preceptor and charge nurse experience is a plus
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other units including Intermediate Care (IMC) and Emergency Department (ED) within the hospital
• Additional Information: No block schedule requests; orientation occurs weekly; unit equipped with Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed and chair alarms, Omnicel medication dispensing system, Zoll defibrillators; EHR system is Medhost; patient ratio is 1:6.
