Wolfson Children’s Hospital is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Pediatric Outpatient Rehab Team in downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity at the Southbank Outpatient Rehab Clinic in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. No weekend, holiday, or call rotation. We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist with at least 1 year of recent experience in medically complex infant feeding. Benefits Up to $7,000 Sign on Bonus Relocation Assistance Reimbursement Available Job Responsibilities Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses. Provide extensive patient/family education. Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc. Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities. Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines. Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements. Experience Requirements Experience working in an Outpatient setting strongly preferred. 1 or more years of experience with medically complex infant feeding. Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies. Education & Credential Requirements Master of Science or Master of Arts required. Licensed Speech Language Pathologist required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required from the American Heart Association. Positions requiring a Level II Background (a detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
