Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides age-specific, direct patient care within a fast-paced emergency department. They utilize the Nursing Process to deliver safe, effective care and assume leadership responsibilities within the nursing team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with departmental and specialty standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, ensuring timely interventions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other healthcare team members and supervise their execution.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations and policies.
• Document clinical information accurately and thoroughly in patient records.
• Respond to emergent situations with appropriate use of clinical skills and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP, and de-escalation certifications.
• Demonstrate clinical experience in emergency care or similar acute settings.
• Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Adhere to all regulatory and institutional compliance standards.
