Job Description Job Description Location: Des Moines, Iowa Duration: 6 Months Experience: 1+ Years Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and other medications to patients undergoing various medical procedures. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and caring for individuals receiving or recovering from anesthesia. Key Responsibilities: Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during medical procedures Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia care plans Ensure the safety and well-being of patients throughout the perioperative period Manage pain relief strategies for patients post-operatively Maintain accurate and detailed records of anesthesia administration and patient responses Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and medications Qualifications: Master’s degree or doctorate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. A current license to practice nursing in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property. A minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience as a CRNA within the last three (3) years (NOTE: VA experience is desirable).
