For over 7 years, we’ve been helping businesses and individuals reduce their environmental footprint, and now we’re looking for a motivated General Warehouse Worker Lead to join our team and help us continue making a difference. What You’ll Do Lead and Motivate : Oversee the daily activities of the Sort Team, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. Train and Support : Teach new team members sorting procedures, safety policies, and company expectations. Monitor and Coach : Track employee performance, provide feedback, and encourage a positive, productive work environment. Ensure Quality : Perform quality checks to ensure materials are sorted according to company standards while minimizing errors. Promote Safety : Enforce warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements, keeping the work environment hazard-free. Collaborate and Communicate : Work alongside your team to meet production goals, address equipment or inventory concerns, and maintain efficient workflows. Stay Hands-On : Assist with unloading, moving, and organizing materials while keeping the sorting area clean and organized. Adapt and Contribute : Take on additional duties as assigned and work closely with other departments to achieve company goals. What We’re Looking For Experience : At least 3 years of previous warehouse experience; leadership or supervisory experience is a big plus. Leadership Skills : Ability to lead by example, maintain a positive attitude, and inspire your team to perform their best. Strong Communication : Clear and effective communication skills to guide your team and collaborate with others. Organizational Abilities : A knack for prioritizing tasks, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly. Technical Know-How : Basic computer skills to complete simple reports and documentation. Work Ethic : Reliable attendance, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
