A leading AmLaw firm is seeking a Corporate M&A Associate to join its highly regarded Corporate and M&A practice in San Francisco. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong transactional experience who is looking to work on sophisticated M&A and private equity transactions while collaborating with experienced corporate associates and high-profile clients. Handle sophisticated M&A and corporate transactions from due diligence through closing. Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, merger agreements, and other transaction documents. Conduct and manage corporate due diligence. Assist with private equity transactions and related corporate matters. Advise clients on corporate governance matters. Analyze and address federal securities law considerations. Work closely with partners, clients, and attorneys across practices on complex transactions. Develop practical and strategic solutions to sophisticated corporate and transactional issues. ✅ Qualifications 3-6 years of relevant transactional experience. Experience with sophisticated M&A transactions. Private equity transaction experience is highly valued. Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills. Experience with corporate governance matters and federal securities laws. Excellent academic credentials. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
