Position Overview 

• Teach engaging, standards-aligned Biology or Earth & Space Science lessons to high school students while creating a positive and structured learning environment.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional activities that encourage student engagement, critical thinking, and academic growth.
• Monitor student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate proactively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, professional school community.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid New York City Teaching Certificate
• Valid New York State Science Certification preferred
• Prior teaching experience preferred
