I am looking to hire a full-time Property Accountant for reputable real estate company here in Milwaukee, WI (53202). This role will be permanent with benefits and is looking to interview/start immediately. Pay: $70k - $95k (based on experience) & Benefits Schedule: 1st shift, M-F Remote: No, 100% onsite Job Responsibilities: Prepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjust entries for assigned residential and commercial properties Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations Process AP, AR, including vendor invoices, tenant billing, and lease charge-back Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for property owners and internal leadership Assist with CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and commercial tenant billing calculations Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with Property Managers Support internal and external audit requests Respond to inquires from Property Managers, owners, and vendors, regarding financial transactions and reporting Must Have: Accounting Degree (not finance, not economics, etc. has to be accounting) 1-5 year of accounting experience, property management or real estate preferred Experience in property accounting (Yardi, MRI, AppFolio) #J-18808-Ljbffr Connect Search, LLC
