Material Handler, Dist (1st Shift)

Job Requirements High school graduate or GED required. 1–3 years knowledge of distribution operations preferred. Strong leader with good interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, with intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks with changing priorities. Self‑motivated and energetic. Able to operate a motorized pallet jack, narrow aisle forklift, and other equipment. Must demonstrate basic requirements for safely operating powered industrial equipment. Must be able to demonstrate a professional attitude toward work and colleagues. Must be punctual and dependable. Work requires effective math skills. High school or GED equivalent preferred. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to work in front of a laptop or PC workstation for extended periods. Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and talking on the phone. Work requires hearing, mental and visual attention. Able to lift 50 lbs., bend and lift frequently, and work around dust.
