Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Vice President, Information Security – Manufacturing Plant Security, Product Security & Application Security is responsible for protecting Danaher’s global manufacturing plants, connected products, and software engineering environments across our operating company portfolio. This leader owns security strategy and execution across three domains: manufacturing plant (OT/ICS) security, product security for IoT-enabled and digital health products, and application security across our engineering organizations.This position reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is part of the Global Information Security organization, located in Washington, D.C. and will be a remote, with regular travel required to Danaher operating company and manufacturing locations globally.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Lead global strategy and execution for manufacturing plant (OT/ICS) security across the manufacturing sites of Danaher’s 14+ operating companies in more than 50 countriesOwn product security strategy for IoT-enabled and connected digital health products, including compliance with FDA premarket and post market medical device cybersecurity requirementsLead application security strategy across Danaher’s engineering organizations, including CI/CD pipeline security, DevSecOps practices, and governance for AI-assisted development tools such as Claude CodeBuild and lead a team of function leaders and embedded security professionals across operating companies worldwide, providing strategic direction and developmentPartner directly with operating company presidents, plant leaders, and product and engineering executives to embed security into day-to-day business operationsEstablish and maintain a consolidated risk management framework spanning manufacturing, product, and application security domains, with clear metrics and executive reportingRepresent Danaher’s security strategy and risk posture to executive leadership and as needed, audit and risk committeesThe essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience12+ years of information security experience, including direct ownership of manufacturing plant (OT/ICS) security, product security, or application security within a global organizationExperience with FDA medical device cybersecurity requirements, including premarket cybersecurity submissions under Section 524B of the FD&C Act and post market vulnerability managementExperience applying OT/ICS security frameworks such as IEC 62443 or NIST 800-82 within manufacturing or industrial environmentsExperience with modern application security tooling and practices, including CI/CD pipeline security, SAST/DAST/SCA, and cloud-native application securityExperience leading an information security function through multiple layers of management across global, multi-site organizationsExperience operating across a multi-country organization spanning 50 or more countriesTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30% of the time, to Danaher operating company manufacturing, R&D, and plant locations globallyIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Experience within a diversified, multi-business-unit organization operating with a decentralized business model (e.g., Danaher Business System or an equivalent operating system)Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or GICSPExperience presenting to boards, audit committees, or executive risk committees#LI-KW4Danaher offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
