Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,211 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is hiring a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Evanston, Illinois. The position requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. Responsibilities As an IR Tech, you will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures, prepare and monitor patients, report abnormal activity, and maintain accurate records. Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, explain procedures, and provide reassurance. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards and safeguards. Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy for accurate interpretation of examination requests. Operate intravenous injections and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements At least 1 year of recent acute‑care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification; state‑specific licensing as required. Preferred: Vascular Interventional certificate. Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
