Personal Banker – 75th and Thunderbird, Peoria, AZ Provide excellent customer care to customers regarding daily transactions, addressing inquiries, and problem resolution in accordance with Fifth Third Bank policies. Refer customers to appropriate business partners for products and services uncovered during business interactions. The role includes traveling to various Financial Centers within the market. Responsible for risk management, exchanging ideas, ensuring actions drive positive customer experience, and monitoring risks consistently. Responsibilities Promote good customer experience by consistently providing best‑in‑class customer satisfaction. Develop rapport with the customer base and maintain knowledge of account ownership. Answer customer questions and find solutions to issues with confidence. Respond and resolve problems in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality and trust. Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Perform daily office responsibilities and maintain efficient operation. Maintain up‑to‑date balancing records and correct outages. Keep knowledge of bank policies and financial center procedures current. Handle consumer and business customer problems and refer more complex issues appropriately. Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making, following guidelines. Meet or exceed sales referral targets as set by management. Participate in daily huddles, sales meetings, and staff meetings. Maintain knowledge of the complete line of retail products and services. Initiate conversations to uncover customer needs and refer customers to business partners. Use appropriate tools for referrals and track referral progression. Continue to increase knowledge and skills through self‑motivation, training, seminars, and in‑house training. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience with advanced math functions and cash handling. Professional image and ability to interact confidently with the public. Excellent communication skills. Minimum of 2 years of CSR experience and in‑depth knowledge of retail policies. Sound judgment and diplomacy in problem resolution. Ability to work in a team environment. Flexibility in scheduling. SAFE Act registration required at employment through NMLS. Working Conditions Normal office environment. Extended computer screen viewing. Travel required.
