Purchasing Agent

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay: $26.00-$28.00/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you'll manage inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure the timely procurement of materials to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase inventory and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Analyze purchasing data and forecasts to support inventory planning.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Monitor back orders, inventory transfers, and urgent supply needs.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing and invoice issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory turnover and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and item master data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience required.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Experience in distribution or logistics is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
