Purchasing Agent
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Pay: $26.00-$28.00/hour
- Purchase inventory and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Analyze purchasing data and forecasts to support inventory planning.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Monitor back orders, inventory transfers, and urgent supply needs.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Accounts Payable to resolve purchasing and invoice issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory turnover and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and item master data.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience required.
- Strong Excel and ERP system skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Experience in distribution or logistics is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
