We are looking for a part-time 'Quality of Life Coordinator' (Activity Coordinator). This person must be compassionate, friendly, outgoing, and have a passion for seniors. We believe that a great activity program increases the quality of life of the residents we care for each day, and we are looking for someone who feels the same. Are you self-driven, and can you work well in a team setting? You may be the person we are looking for!The Cottages provides care for our senior population to help them live safely and independently in a home-like setting. We only want people who want to love our seniors. Experience is a plus, but love is a must!Qualities:Care and compassionReliabilityDependabilityMaturityAgilitySincerityTimelinessTrustworthinessIntegrityJob Duties Include (not limited to):Creating a fun environment for our residentsPlan activities in the home and in the communityCreate monthly activity calendarsCreate personalized and group activities for all residentsOversee activity petty cashCoordinate external vendors for entertainmentHelp coordinate and plan special eventsRequirements:GREAT ATTITUDE, one of compassion and a sincere desire to help othersAbility to take direction, follow rules exactly, be proactive and thoughtfulSuccessful completion of a Criminal History checkPass the post-offer drug testBe able to lift at least 50lbsBe 18 years of age or older*We are a drug free and equal opportunity employer.
