Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and those in the delivery and immediate postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to alternate care sites or units within the health system as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure eligibility
• Current experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• BLS and relevant obstetric certifications (e.g., NRP, AWHONN fetal monitoring) as required
• Ability and willingness to float to other units or care sites within the health system as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
