Food Service Prep Cook at Union Terminal Cincinnati Museum Center, 1301 Western Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio, United States of America Job Description Position Title: Prep Cook Reports to: Kitchen Manager(s), Sous Chef(s) and Executive Chef Posted Wednesday, May 27, 2026 | Expires Friday, August 28, 2026 For more than 50 years, SSA has partnered with cultural attractions to design the hospitality experience journey, freeing our partners to remain mission-focused. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of ingredients, including washing, chopping, seasoning, and marinating. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies. Assist in inventory management and storage of supplies. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly. Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned. Job Requirements Live out 452 Hospitality by delivering warm, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every guest and client. Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen. Manual dexterity required to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils. Team player with good communication skills. Patient and able to stay positive under pressure. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed. Compensation and Benefits Eligible for overtime pay. On-Demand Pay Program: Get access to a portion of earned wages before payday. Meal Plan & Employee Discounts at applicable locations. Participation in a 401(k) program with a 15% company match (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked). Tuition Discount through Partnership College. Up to 8 hours of Bereavement Leave. Holiday pay of 1.5× the regular rate for hours worked on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
