Job Title: Production Technician I

Job Description

The Production Technician I works in a clean room manufacturing environment assembling medical devices using hand tools, basic equipment, and manual assembly techniques. This role is responsible for following detailed work instructions, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring products are assembled accurately and efficiently. Successful candidates are mechanically inclined, work well with their hands, and have strong attention to detail. Previous medical device experience is not required; however, the ability to follow written instructions, learn new processes, and perform repetitive tasks with precision is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices using hand tools, fixtures, and basic manufacturing equipment.
• Follow written work instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform work in a clean room environment while adhering to safety and company guidelines.
• Inspect products for quality and report any issues or defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, or quality observations to supervisors.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• Ability to work at a fast manufacturing pace.
• Ability to handle small components with hands and fingers.
• Ability to inspect small parts by eye, corrective lens if needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Physical copy of high school Diploma or GED required.
• Capability to stand for 12 hours.
• Comfortable wearing mask and hood that covers face and hair besides the eyes.

Work Environment

The role is on the 1st or 2nd shift (5:23am-5:30pm or 5:23pm-5:30am), Thursday-Saturday, alternating Wednesdays every other week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
