Travel Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location: Aurora, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for our Adult Behavioral Health unit. This position requires providing compassionate care to patients experiencing various mental health issues while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting behavioral health admissions and discharges.
• Providing nursing care to patients with diverse mental health challenges.
• Maintaining patient safety and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Leading RN resources classes to enhance the quality of care.
• Potentially floating to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Current Behavioral Health experience of at least 1 year.
• BLS certification is required.
• CPI Certification or Calm Every Storm Certification is required.
