Travel Emergency Department EMT – Nights | 13-Week Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced Emergency Department.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department EMT
• Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians in providing emergency patient care
• Obtain and document vital signs, patient information, and assessments
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and report changes in patient condition
• Support patient flow, transport, and emergency procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Assist with patient safety, comfort, and departmental operations
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary emergency care team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume ER setting
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred
• Ability to read telemetry monitors and pass a telemetry exam
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
