Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Screening in Lexington KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location you will support access screening and visitor processing monitor entry activity and help to deter incidents through a visible professional presence. You will deliver outstanding customer service communicate clearly with employees and visitors and collaborate with a team that is agile reliable innovative caring and guided by integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees visitors contractors packages and deliveries in accordance with site access requirements and established screening procedures.
• Verify credentials identification and authorization for entry; maintain accurate visitor and access-related records as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas entry points and surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
