Mri Technologist - Per Diem

< P> Description

< P> This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, assisting radiologist, handling medication within scope of license, starting IV's and contributing to the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Is Responsible for taking call. < /p>

Required Qualifications: < /strong>

< Li> Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training Program or < /li>
• Coursework/Training: MRI Technologist Training Program. < /li>
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist. < /li>
• WA State Radiologic Technologist (RT) License with MR designation. < /li>
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or < /li>
• Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists. < /li>
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. < /li> < /ul>

  Preferred Qualifications: < /strong>

  < Li> Hospital experience. < /li>
  • 2 years Sub-specialty MRI. < /li> < /ul>

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensationmay be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. < /p>
