Auburn Village has an Immediate Opening for a FULL-time Activity Aide at our facility in Auburn, Indiana. Must be 18 years or older and have 1-2 years of experience as an Activity Aide in a healthcare setting.

Now offering $13.00 per hour, up to hours a week, Day shift - must be flexible with schedule and rotate weekends and holidays with other Activity Aides.

You'll work closely with the Activity Director and other Activity Staff member to design, prepare and implement a vibrant calendar that promotes physical, mental and social well-being.

The Activity Aide will be responsible for providing interactive and enjoyable activities for our residents and will assure that there is an on-going program of activities designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental, psycho-social well-being of each resident.

No experience but have a great attitude and love older adults? We'll train you to be an outstanding Activity Aide!

Responsibilities of the Activity Aide:

Assist in planning, developing, organizing and leading the activity programs in the facility
Set up and tear down equipment for daily activity programs
Track participants in daily activity attendance and not changes in mood or health
Visit bed residents daily on a one-to-one basis
Deliver mail and newspapers to residents
Participate in planning community events related to the facility
Complete monthly calendar of events in each wing
