Staff Nurse

Position: Staff Nurse Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Wayne Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our pediatric care team. In this full-time role, you will be the primary clinical presence for our young patients, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a warm and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, providing wound care, and managing medical equipment Perform physical assessments and provide ongoing clinical evaluations; collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Maintain detailed records of patients' medical histories, treatments, and progress Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid treatment; ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and standards Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and students Comply with all health privacy laws, including HIPAA Qualifications ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program; passing NCLEX-RN score; active state RN license; and current BLS certification Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or CPR preferred Prior pediatric nursing experience preferred Ability to work in a multicultural team and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
