Contract Length: 6 Months
Location: New York, NY
Work Setup: Hybrid (On-site as needed, remote when approved)

We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to join the Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) and help drive a large-scale Agile Product Transformation within the IT organization. The Agile Coach will guide product teams and leadership in adopting Agile practices, improving collaboration, and delivering measurable business value across the enterprise.

Agile Coach Responsibilities

Lead and support enterprise Agile transformation initiatives in collaboration with the Agile Center of Excellence leadership.
Coach product teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and LeSS .
Mentor teams in adopting Agile product practices that improve delivery efficiency and maximize business value.
Act as a trusted advisor and change advocate, helping teams and leaders adopt modern Agile ways of working.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and coaching sessions to increase Agile maturity across teams.
Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives, experimentation, and data-driven decision making.
Analyze Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and team health to identify improvement opportunities.
Support enterprise collaboration using Jira, Confluence, and Jira Align to enhance workflow visibility and reporting.
Align Agile delivery practices with enterprise transformation goals and strategic objectives.

Agile Coach Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of software development experience
At least 8 years of Agile coaching experience in enterprise environments
Proven experience leading Agile product transformations in complex organizations
Deep expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS) and scaling Agile practices
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and XP engineering practices
Exceptional communication, facilitation, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills

Preferred Certifications

Certified Agile Coach (ICP-Client, ICP-ATF)
Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with Lean Portfolio Management
Knowledge of organizational change management and transformation strategy
Experience coaching teams in DevSecOps and product-centric delivery models
Strong experience leveraging Agile metrics to drive continuous improvement

As an Agile Coach , you will play a key role in enabling teams and leaders to successfully adopt Agile practices while supporting a broader organizational transformation. This Agile Coach role focuses on coaching, facilitation, and collaboration rather than direct management, helping teams deliver greater value while strengthening Agile culture across the organization.
