Responsibilities:

The General Medical RN provides direct, patient‑centered care for a diverse group of adult patients. This role uses the nursing process to assess needs, develop individualized care plans, and prioritize interventions while efficiently managing time and resources in a standards‑based practice environment.

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
• Prioritize and manage care for multiple patients, ensuring safe and efficient use of time and resources.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to provider orders and clinical standards.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans to support safe transitions.

Qualifications:

Licensure : State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse License required

Education : Minimum ADN preparation
