Senior AccountantPosition Title: Senior Accountant Salary: $60,000 – $73,000SummaryHandles financial reporting, month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and compliance with GAAP. Supports audits, prepares accruals, and assists with regulatory filings and accounts payable.Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-End Close & General LedgerLead month-end close for multiple entitiesPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustmentsReconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepanciesMaintain chart of accounts and ensure report accuracyCoordinate with departments to gather inputs and explain variancesFinancial Reporting & AnalysisCompile monthly financial reports for leadership and departmentsRespond to inquiries on budget performance and variancesCreate ad-hoc reports and financial models using ExcelAccounts Payable & Revenue MonitoringSupport A/P functions and resolve issuesMonitor revenue and receivables; escalate collection concernsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2 years in accounting; healthcare experience preferredProficient in Excel and accounting systemsStrong communication, organization, and analytical skills
