Per Diem Pharmacist - Glendale, Arizona

A pharmacy team is being formed to provide per diem coverage for multiple pharmacy locations in the greater Phoenix area. These pharmacies operate within a combined food and pharmacy environment, serving a steady flow of customers with an average volume of 100-125 prescriptions per day.


Location:

• Glendale, AZ, with pharmacies throughout the greater Phoenix area
• Most sites are within commuting distance; travel reimbursement available for commutes over 30 miles

Schedule & Hours:

• Pharmacy hours: Monday through Saturday, typically 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., some stores to 8 p.m.
• Per diem, flexible schedule aiming for 2-4 shifts per week covering call outs, vacations, and volume spikes
• One 8-hour paid training shift provided (additional training available if needed)

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently using QS1 software
• Provide strong patient care with immunization privileges
• Collaborate with pharmacy technician staff for smooth daily operations
• Maintain compliance with BLS certification and pharmacy standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Arizona pharmacist license with no restrictions
• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience; 5+ years preferred for higher pay consideration
• Immunization privilege and current BLS certification required
• Familiarity with QS1 software a plus
