In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch breakThe hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management.Work Location: Marietta, GAThis position does not require you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.Process billing information and collect payments when required.Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Administrative and clerical duties as necessaryAssembling equipment such as: tourniquet, needles, disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices, gauze, cotton, and alcohol on work tray, according to requirements for specified tests or procedures,Performing other responsibilities as required, Work with and draw from a wide range patient cases in a confident manner,Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations,Verifying or recording identity of patient or donor and converses with patient or donor.Maintaining Refrigerator and Freezer temperatures.Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment,Comply with legal Phlebotomy regulations, Handle urine analysis, blood testing, Perform a variety of routine blood drawing procedures.Travel to additional sites when needed.Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPhlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.Previous experience as a phlebotomistProven track record in providing exceptional customer service.Strong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environment.Comfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableFlexibility to work overtime as needed.Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.If you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today!Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
