Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring local caregivers to support seniors and individuals with disabilities right here in our community. We focus on providing steady, predictable schedules so you can build a routine that works for your life while giving our clients the reliability they need. The Schedule Our clients need assistance at various times throughout the day, so we build schedules using 4-hour shifts (mornings, lunchtimes, and late afternoons). If you have open availability during the daytime, we can easily get you 15 to 20 hours a week. You will visit the same regular clients each week, meaning no random shift changes or unpredictable hours. Daily Responsibilities This is hands-on, rewarding work. You will be visiting clients in their homes to help them remain safe and comfortable. Duties include: Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing Preparing regular meals and tidying up the kitchen Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing Providing mobility assistance and fall prevention Offering friendly companionship and peace of mind What We Offer Our Team Competitive pay based on your current certifications and experience On-the-job training (if you have the right attitude but need to learn the skills, we will pay for your training) Mileage reimbursement for driving between client locations Time-and-a-half pay for holiday shifts Employee referral bonuses A local office support team that is accessible 24/7 whenever you are out on a shift Requirements to Apply A reliable, insured personal vehicle and a valid Georgia driver’s license Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to get them quickly) A negative TB skin test or recent clear chest X-ray Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check Prior experience as a CNA, PCA, or family caregiver is a plus, but not required. We are a locally run office, and we treat our staff with the same respect and care that we expect you to show our clients.
