Job Family: Group Sales Job Profile: Solutions Specialist Mobile – CCI Management Level Individual Contributor Work Location: Must work at a specified Cox location (no remote option) Variable Compensation: Hourly rate $15.29 – $22.88/hour (may vary by location and experience) Annual incentive/commission target: $15,348.00 Job Overview Open to candidates who can deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive sales in a retail store setting. Requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule. What You’ll Do Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customers’ wants and needs. Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention. Assist with opening/closing of a Cox retail store. Properly handle cash. Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos. Support fellow sales agents when needed. Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training. May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area. Qualifications Minimum: HS diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience. Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative, solutions‑based selling. Ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base. Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment. Mobility within the store for long periods. Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to lift 25–50 pounds. Preferred: Some college experience in sales, business, or management. Preferred: One year of related experience (sales, retail, service industry, etc.). Preferred: Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products. Preferred: Fluency in Spanish, written and spoken. Benefits Minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month.
