Landscape Irrigation Install / Maintenance

Lakes Area Landscaping is seeking landscape irrigation install/maintenance individuals for 40+ hours/week. Must be willing to rotate from irrigation and work on other grounds related assignments as needed or wherever needed.

Job Task:

• Operates power equipment and hand tools to install, maintain and repair irrigation systems and related components including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, pumps, etc.
• Perform irrigation start ups and winterize systems
• Have the ability to lead or train other employees on irrigation projects
• Have the ability to work as a team and independently

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, standing, walking, climbing off and on equipment, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift, use of hands often and exposure to loud noise at times.

Other Requirements:

• Experience required for this position 2-4 years preferred.
• Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Have the ability to work well with others and keep a positive attitude.
• Have basic mechanical skills and willingness to learn and help others.
• Have a strong work ethic, be on time, and stay on task.
• Be reliable and honest and some weekends are required but not often.
