Probate Paralegal

Overview The role involves maintaining positive client contact, coordinating client conferences, and assisting attorneys in preparing for meetings. Key responsibilities include administering asset allocation and trust funding, coordinating asset transfers, and managing intestate and insolvent estates. The position is responsible for preparing federal and state estate tax returns, federal gift tax returns, and conducting estate and gift tax calculations and projections. Duties also include evaluating assets and preparing estate inventories. Required skills include experience with sophisticated and technical probate issues, alongside current knowledge of Washington State probate proceedings. Preferred qualifications include recent experience with tax preparation software and knowledge of Oregon probate procedures.
