About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:15) Experience: Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience required License: Must have Client License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Active license, strong attendance and punctuality Description: Facility is a state-run long-term care center, including rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care. Candidacy requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing. The facility serves Alzheimer's and dementia patient populations. Travelers will work 5 days per week, with every other weekend required. The nurse will administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Medication passes must be performed accurately and safely. Monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition is essential. Timely and accurate documentation must be completed. Nursing care provided should be in accordance with facility policies. Nurses will supervise certified nursing assistants on assigned units. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. A personable and professional demeanor is necessary for effective interaction. Flexibility with scheduling needs is required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates must complete required modules before the assignment start date. Compliance with all facility policies is mandatory. Any call-outs must be communicated with ample notice, more than 24 hours prior. RTO requests must be approved at submission and cannot be changed post-offer.
