Job Description JOB TITLE: Sales Associate Reports To: Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager Non-Exempt SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for assisting customers in their purchase of company products and services by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Handles all aspects of customer service (internal and external customers alike) Ability to handle customer and employee issues, along with communicating to management regarding issues that need to be addressed. Assists with inventory to and from the warehouse, and sales floor. Responsible for promoting a positive culture within the department/store. Works with customers to insure a positive shopping experience. Handles inbound calls Provides and collects required paperwork and forms following all ATF guidelines, ensuring accuracy of data collected free of errors or missing data. Maintains required paperwork. Quotes price and describes features of product items. Emphasizes salable features, credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained. Stocks products on sales floor Cleans and organizes work areas Enforces safety, health, and security rules. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. All other duties as required by management. ACCOUNTABILITY Is accountable for sales and quality control.
