We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Temporary Chef to join our culinary team in a dynamic hotel kitchen environment. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to contribute to high-quality food preparation and service on a short-term basis starting at 1-month with option to extend.

Hot Line Chef Details:

• Temporary position
• $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Friday through Tuesday from 05:00am to 01:00pm )

• Execute all assigned cooking duties with precision and efficiency, adhering to established recipes and culinary standards
• Perform comprehensive food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure all dishes are cooked to proper temperatures, seasoned accurately, and presented attractively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times, strictly following all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to ensure seamless kitchen operations
• Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during busy periods
• Uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence, taste, and presentation

Hot Line Chef Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a professional kitchen environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in various cooking techniques and comprehensive food preparation
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations and practices
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand comfortably for the duration of an 8-hour shift
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to access ingredients and equipment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to adhere to required kitchen attire, including wearing non-slip shoes, for safety and hygiene (black pants and shoes)
• Chef coat, apron, and hat will be provide
