Pay Rate: $54.31/hour

What You'll Do

Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, adapting to diverse patient needs
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
Execute and document care using Epic software efficiently
Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families, tailoring communication to their specific needs
Uphold infection control procedures and safety protocols in a high-acuity environment
Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions

What You Need

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification
Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience
Strong communication skills and clinical judgment
Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and exposure to communicable diseases (heavy work demands)
Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation tools
