Job Title: Supplies Operator

Job Description

The Supplies Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our printer products. This position involves operating prototype development products for testing purposes, which includes loading paper, removing copies, documenting and resolving issues, and entering data into a PC. The operator also provides valuable feedback to test engineers regarding product performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct paper feed tests and operate printers for product assurance.
• Load paper and remove copies in a controlled lab environment.
• Document and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
• Enter data accurately into a PC.
• Collaborate with test engineers to provide insights on product performance.
• Conduct testing in various areas, including paper feed reliability, print/copy quality, printer robustness, competitive printer products, sub-system testing, and printhead/cartridge yield and reliability.
• Review output for defects to ensure high-quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in reliability testing and handling repetitive motions.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Basic computer skills, including fundamental knowledge of using a mouse.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to feed paper into printers.
• Good attendance and reliability are essential.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift large paper boxes.
• Experience in jobs requiring long periods of standing.
• Longevity in employment history is preferred.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a controlled, clean lab environment. The position requires working the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 4 pm to 2:30 am. Training will be conducted on the 2nd shift from 4 pm to 2:30 am. The team is part of a community-focused organization that values sustainability and resource conservation. This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, KY.

The pay range for this position is $15.25 - $15.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lexington,KY.
