HVAC Equipment Service Technician Tradesman

HVAC Equipment Service Tech - Tradesman Johnson Controls, a leading Building Technology OEM for healthcare, manufacturing, higher education, K12, and commercial real estate, is seeking skilled HVAC tradesmen to join our growing business. This role offers the chance to service and maintain the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment in the world, working as a trusted advisor to our customers to solve comfort, building inefficiency, and other service-related issues. Responsibilities Perform mechanical installations and drive results under the labor agreement assigned by the Employer, mentored by peers. Troubleshoot and resolve problems, responding to basic warranty calls. Keep JCI, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities run efficiently, including upselling opportunities. Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions. Qualifications Adherence to the company Safety Program. High School Diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with HVAC equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self‑starter with ability to work independently. A valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations. Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $25.00 hourly. Hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
