Job Description Overview Growing organization seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations while partnering with leadership on financial strategy. This role blends execution (owning the close, reporting, and controls) with forward‑looking analysis, budgeting, and process improvement. Experience: Director Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year Key Responsibilities Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare GAAP‑compliant financial statements Deliver financial analysis, variance reporting, and actionable insights to leadership Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments Establish and maintain internal controls; support audit and tax compliance Manage and mentor accounting team; drive accountability and development Oversee cash flow, AR/AP, and working capital optimization Partner cross‑functionally to improve cost control and profitability Identify and implement process improvements, systems, and ERP enhancements Qualifications Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred) 5–7+ years of experience; 2+ years leadership Strong hands‑on experience across close, reporting, budgeting, and cash management Deep GAAP knowledge; audit exposure preferred Advanced Excel + ERP systems experience Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced, evolving environment A bit about us We are a regional distributor of aftermarket automotive parts, supporting repair shops and commercial customers with a reliable supply of essential components.
