Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in a dynamic Emergency Department located in Canton, Georgia. This role is within an acute care hospital setting, providing critical care to a diverse patient population presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Manage critical situations and rapidly changing patient conditions with proficiency and sound clinical judgment.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate medical equipment according to established protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience within an Emergency Department setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Canton, Georgia.
