Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing and filing accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Compute taxes owed, identify potential deductions or credits, and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards. Support the tax team in researching and interpreting tax laws to provide accurate advice to clients. Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with team members to implement and maintain effective accounting and recordkeeping systems. Assist with developing budgets and preparing periodic financial reports comparing projected and actual expenses. Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, ensuring completeness and adherence to procedural standards. Participate in internal and external auditing processes as required. Provide general support to the accounting team and management as needed.
