Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed.
• Perform basic laboratory procedures and specimen collection.
• Manage patient scheduling, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide outstanding customer service and patient education.
• Follow all HIPAA and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a primary care or outpatient clinic preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
