Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Progressive Care Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent - AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers or an approved equivalent Must-Have: - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment Description: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient job description has incorporated essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice. The role involves management of patient care and collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Clinical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate compassionate care for patients.
