Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1920 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: At least 1 travel assignment completed. Must be able to start IVs. Must be able to insert Foley catheters. Must be able to insert NG tubes. Experience performing EKGs. Experience with heparin drips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with a 1:6 patient ratio and high turnover preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend hours as needed. No call.

Floating Requirements: Rare and unlikely; may need to float to inpatient rehab or ER to task.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
