The Clydesdale is a modern American tavern located in Ballpark Village and created by James Beard Award-winning Chef Kevin Nashan. Built around scratch cooking, quality ingredients, and exceptional execution, our kitchen is designed for cooks who take pride in their craft.

We're looking for motivated Line Cooks who thrive in a fast-paced, professional kitchen and are passionate about preparing consistently great food. What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Chef Kevin Nashan's recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock your assigned station before every shift.
• Maintain speed, consistency, and quality during high-volume service.
• Ensure every plate meets presentation and quality expectations before leaving the kitchen.
• Follow recipes precisely while maintaining portion control.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow cooks throughout service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with prep work, inventory, and stocking.
• Complete opening, running, and closing kitchen duties.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Passion for cooking and learning.
• Ability to stay organized and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and Cardinals game days.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scratch kitchen experience
• High-volume restaurant experience
• Fine dining or upscale casual restaurant experience
• Experience working multiple stations
• Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds .
• Bend, reach, twist, and work safely around hot equipment.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
