Sr. Software Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. Minimum Qualifications 5+years of demonstrated professional, hands‑on development experience with Windows programming (C#/.NET, C++). 5+years of significant experience developing WinForms and WPF/XAML applications with familiarity in MVVM design patterns. Proven ability to develop attractive and efficient graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for Windows. Strong knowledge of database development (e.g., SQL Server, SQLite). Familiarity with standard software testing techniques and tools (e.g., Unit Testing, Black Box Testing). Experience using software source control systems (e.g., GIT, SVN). Significant experience with communications and command‑and‑control technologies (e.g., Ethernet, RS232/RS485, USB, CAN). Proven ability to build test, calibration, and automation programs for prototypes and manufacturing products. Demonstrable mastery of core software development methodologies (e.g., Object‑Oriented Programming, Agile Development, Common Design Patterns). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences. Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills. A hands‑on approach and a strong results‑driven mindset are essential. Preferred Qualifications MS or Ph.D. degree in Science, Engineering, or Computer Science. Proven experience in software development for test and measurement or automation systems, with a focus on hardware interface and control. Expertise in embedded development, including both RTOS and non‑RTOS systems. Familiarity with FDA/GMP standards and compliance processes. Extensive knowledge and hands‑on experience with NI LabVIEW. Relevant coursework or projects focusing on AI and machine learning. Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools. Contributions to AI‑related research, publications, or impactful projects, showcasing expertise in the field.
