The Cardiac Nurse Educator will support the Cardiac Unit, including the Cath Lab, Cardiovascular Services, and Interventional Cardiology Unit, with an opportunity to influence practice across procedural and specialty areas. The Nurse Educator Cath Lab will collaborate with clinical leaders to develop competency programs, onboarding pathways, and continuing education initiatives that elevate cardiovascular care delivery across the continuum.
Reporting to the Manager of Cath Lab, the Cardiac Nurse Educator will partner closely with Cath Lab managers, interventional cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and a highly skilled team of nurses and technologists. Responsibilities include designing curriculum, coordinating orientation and skills validation, mentoring new and experienced staff, leading quality improvement education, and supporting evidence-based practice initiatives. The Cardiovascular Clinical Educator will serve as a trusted resource and coach within a diverse, inclusive healthcare team known for its supportive culture, collaborative spirit, and dedication to clinical excellence.
