We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Hickory, NC! As a manufacturer that develops, builds, markets, and sells our own products, we have a unique opportunity to create compelling content directly from the work happening inside our facility and in the field. This is a hands-on marketing role with responsibilities spanning content creation, videography, social media, e-commerce, digital marketing, and trade show support . We are particularly interested in someone who can help expand our video and digital content capabilities while contributing across the broader marketing function.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, capture, and edit original photo and video content for social media, websites, product launches, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate content shoots on the production floor, at customer locations, and during industry events.
• Work with production, engineering, sales, and other departments to identify opportunities for compelling content and translate technical information into engaging material for a broader audience.
• Collaborate with the existing content creator to maintain a consistent content and publishing schedule.
• Organize and maintain a searchable library of company photo and video assets.
• Assist with planning, creating, writing, and publishing content across company social media channels.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, reviews, mentions, and tags while maintaining the company's brand voice.
• Route sales inquiries, service issues, warranty questions, and other customer needs to the appropriate internal team member and follow through as needed.
• Monitor social media engagement, reach, growth, and other performance indicators.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the company's e-commerce storefront, including product images, descriptions, categorization, pricing updates, and promotional merchandising.
• Work with operations and inventory personnel to help maintain accurate product availability and lead-time information online.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer's digital experience, including product pages, links, promotions, webstore traffic, and conversion.
• Support email campaigns, promotions, product launches, sales collateral, and other marketing initiatives.
• Assist with trade show preparation, logistics, booth setup, staffing, and content creation.
• Travel approximately 10% for trade shows, customer visits, and industry events.
• Perform other related duties and provide cross-functional support as needed.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• 3-5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, content production, e-commerce, or a related field; candidates with relevant adjacent experience are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated ability to capture and edit photo and video content suitable for digital and social media platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgment when communicating publicly on behalf of an organization.
• Strong organizational, planning, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Creative mindset with the ability to identify interesting stories, products, and processes.
• Ability to understand technical information and communicate it in an engaging, easy-to-understand way.
• Collaborative, hands-on working style and willingness to contribute outside a narrowly defined area of responsibility.
• Ability to work onsite at our Hickory, NC facility.
• Ability to travel approximately 10%.
• Willing and able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

• Manufacturing, industrial, technical, or trades-related marketing
• E-commerce platforms such as BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar
• Video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
• Google Analytics or other digital/platform analytics
• SEO and conversion optimization
• Paid social media or paid search campaigns
• Email marketing
• Trade show or event marketing
