Facility: Far West Clinic Department/Specialty: Pediatric Pulmonology Schedule: Day shift | Monday - Friday 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM #NextGenHealthcare How you'll make an impact in this role Welcoming families, capturing height/weight and vital signs, and ensuring exam rooms are prepared for possible pulmonary treatment. Assisting parents with clinical intake forms and routine patient history. Managing high-volume clinical calls, assessing patient needs, and providing clear guidance to families regarding their child's care. Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Scheduling follow-up appointments. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted. Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Association for Health Professionals obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted. Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted. Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted. Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Medical Certification (AMCA) also accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
